4. Choose to Trust

Confidence in Who God Is

  • Yet God my king is from of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth. – Psalm 74:12
  • The Lord is King forever and ever – Psalm 10:16a
  • Yours is the day, yours also the night; you have established the heavenly lights and the sun. – Psalm 74:16
  • Your way, O God, is holy. What God is great like our God? – Psalm 77:13
  • Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. – Psalm 55:22

Future Hope

  • Nations will fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth will fear your glory. – Psalm 102:15
  • Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! – Psalm 126:5
  • The afflicted shall eat and be satisfied; those who seek him shall praise the Lord! – Psalm 22:26a

God Is near His People
