“Lord, teach us to pray.”

When the disciples observed Jesus’ life, they saw that prayer and relationship with the Father were at the core of all that Jesus said and did. It is the same for us. Our relationship with the Father and our life of prayer are essential to everything that we do. And just as he did with his disciples, Jesus delights to teach us what such prayer is all about.

Join us this summer for a 3-part retreat series on prayer and intercession. In it, we will explore what it means to pray to the Father, in the name of the Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit. And through prayer, we are drawn up into and allowed to share in the very work that Christ is always doing.

The retreat is open to adults and teens, ages 15 and up. Each part of the retreat series is a stand-alone event, so you do not need to attend all parts, and no previous participation is necessary for attending this retreat.

June 19 & 26 at 6:30 PM – Praying to the Father
July 10 & 17 at 6:30 PM – In the Name of the Son
August 21 & 28 at 6:30 PM – By the Power of the Holy Spirit

This retreat has both a online and off-line portion. The total amount of time for all activities is around 4 hours.

Rough Outline:

1. Online video call – brief devotional and introduction to the retreat (60-90 minutes)
2. Participants will have 1 week of time to complete some structured activities focused on:
   – Honest, dependent prayer
   – Scripture meditation
3. Follow-up video call – a second video call in order to share with one another (60 minutes)
