Lament – September 21
As we walk with Jesus through the ups and downs of life, what do we do with our difficult emotions – sadness, anger, grief, sorrow, depression, and more? Though all is dark around us, there is a place to bring our sorrows, and a God on whom we can boldly call.
In this retreat, the lament Psalms guide us through the valleys and griefs we face. Even in the deepest emotional turmoil, God’s children have somewhere to turn – to a Father who invites us to bring our deepest heart aches to him.
Lament is Part 7 of the Let the Thirsty Come retreat series. Over the course of this 9-part series, we will explore different facets of spending extended, quality time with God. The retreat is open to adults and teens, ages 15 and up. All believers are welcome; you do not need to be a member of South Boulder Bible Church to attend. Each part of the Let the Thirsty Come retreat series is a stand-alone event, so you do not need to attend all parts, and no previous participation is necessary for attending this retreat.

Children:
A kids’ program is available during this retreat for kids ages 1 to 10. If you have children ages 11 to 14 and would like them to participate in some way, please reach out to us. We are glad to discuss possibilities for kids in this age range.
